This website sets no cookies. Here is what happens to personal data when you visit, try our service or write to us.

Who we are

Dorvy Tech (“we”) runs this website. For any privacy question, write to us at hello@dorvytech.com.

What this website collects

It sets no cookies, and its only form is on the Try page, described below. To count visits, it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics: when a page loads, a small script from Cloudflare reports the page address, the page you came from, your browser, device type and country, and how fast the page loaded. It uses no cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors. We see only totals.

Our web host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. It may keep this data in server logs for a short time. We don't use it to identify you.

If you use the Try page

The vehicle details you enter are sent to our service at api.dorvytech.com, which runs on servers in Bangalore, India (DigitalOcean), to find the codes. Please don't enter registration numbers or owner details; the service drops them anyway.

Sample vehicles: we count how often each is run, with nothing about you. With a trial key: the details of each request are kept with that key for 7 days, so we can help with questions, and the request is counted against the key's limits. We keep no IP addresses with them.

Your trial key stays in your browser tab and is gone when you close it.

If you email us

We receive your name, your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to follow up on what you asked. Our email provider, Google, stores it for us.

We keep it while we are in touch and as part of our normal business records. Ask us and we will delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Please don't email vehicle data, registration numbers or owner details. For a comparison or a pilot, we first agree how to exchange data; see the security note.

Sharing

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with the providers that run our services, Cloudflare (website and visit counts), Google (email) and DigitalOcean (our service), or when the law requires it. These providers may process data outside India.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct, complete or update it;
• erase it;
• stop using it, where you had given us consent.

You can also nominate another person to use these rights for you. To use any of them, email hello@dorvytech.com. We will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website is meant for businesses. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If this notice changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
